the c14se head is basically the same as the c16se one, but i think it has a smaller combustion chamber volume. So if you are fitting this head to a c16se bottom end, it will also raise compression a bit, so its a win win

If I'm right in thinking these are the 8v small block then im not too sure they are. I tried to fit some twin 40's to my GTE but I?'m sure they didn't fit and I ended up fitting the whole head and ex manifold! I might be wrong and if I'm then I'm sure I'll be corrected on here............several times! lol

all 8v small block exhaust manifolds are interchangeable, i ran an e16se in a mk1 astra & the old 1300 manifold fitted perfectly.
As for the inlets, its down to port shape, round, square or 'cathedral' cos they are shaped like a church window..
And c14se & c16se are both round inlet

it will bolt up the same i dont think there much in c16se and the c14se head as its ported gas flowed and biger valves than he c16se head should give you bit more bhp yea

i have an unskimmed e16se head. I'll measure it.

I'll try to annoy my local motor factors into lending me their camshaft book.

Also when i get back home, i'll look at my
Ks catalogue to see if they have any decent info.
