Hi,

I am just updating all my linkages ETC but this part is wore over time and is too slack for the ball to sit in without popping out.

Can you let me know what it is called or where I could get a new one please.

Just a temporary fix for now mate but I squeezed the rubber part in a vice to tighten mine up! worked better than the 2nd hand one I bought! lol

Very quick fix cable ties are your friend lol joking apart i run my gearbox linkage being held together with cables ties for atleast six races never let me down lol

Hi thanks, might try the vice thing. I used cable ties but don't want to keep it like that :P

there are classic bodges, like wrapping elec tape round it & forcing the socket back on, or using a sharp punch, knurling the edge & forcing it on, but i think the only way to fix it these days is to convert it to rosejoints. i think there is a how to guide
