I was driving my nova redtop the other night when i noticed loads of smoke coming out the exhaust, not blue, black or white just normal coloured exhaust smoke but LOADS of it so i pulled over and had a look under the bonnet, i dont know that much on the mechanical side of things so i phoned the AA. Their bloke said he was 95% sure it was the head gasket as the coolant expansion take was empty and i had checked the coolant before i left home. It didnt want to start either which he said was down to bad compression so he towed me home. I got it booked into my local garage which are Vauxhall Specialists and they said it was the head gasket as well. They fitted a new gasket, gave it a service as it was due and checked that the head wasnt porous. I paid for it after work Friday and then drove my other car home and came back for it later, they had all gone home by then but after a few miles down the road theres still smoke pouring out of it  Enough to get me stopped by the police if they see it. Does anyone have any ideas whats causing it? The higher the revs the worse it is.
