Just wondering... My friend said he got told to put redtop cream injectos on his 16xe is this a good upgrade? Or will it not affect it? I may try it anyway but just thought I'd ask incase anyone has already tried... Thanks
Epic fail IMO. With how old they are there is no way they can be a better spray pattern so no "upgrade" there and as they are bigger will probably just over fuel it.

terrible upgrade, made it worse on a mates 16xe
That's because this isn't forza, simply changing injectors very rarely gets an improvement, especially on a N/A
Total waste of time and effort. You'd have to back the fuel pressure off so much it'd be a right mess.
To put things into context. I'm running an X16XE on throttle bodies and my injectors at 150BHP are just starting to run out of duty cycle - unless you're massively modified there is no point, if you need to go beyond 150Bhp (genuine by the way not pub bhp ;) ) then there are better injectors than the old cream ones.

Would it be worth going to let injectors if turboing a x16xe?

Best asking Craig Green what he used Scott. ;)
Craig had standard injectors on both his e16se and c/x16xe turbo lumps
Phazer what have you got the final rev limit set at on your DTA? Just curious because of a message I got on ours. Any more revs than 6900rpm and it basically pops up a fail safe box.
It states the engine would require more fuel at WOT and 6900+ i.e injectors would not flow enough although we are only running standard C16XE injectors with velos torque tube.
I'm running 7700 soft cut with hard cut at 7800 or 7900. What colour are your injectors and what fuel pressure are you running?

Hi all... I didn't fit them, but sold them to a friend with a x14xe so he fitted them, he said they made a differance.. But only from 6000rpm + and was really lumpy at idle. He was really happy though as he gets some good flames lol.
lol pistons aint gona last long then f lol lol
