Camshaft information needed

Basically as the blocks are the same, i have a high lift cam in a 1.2 engine..just wondering if they are interchangeable to 1.3 and 1.4s? as this would save some money.

yes all interchangable

it all depends if you need the mechanical fuel pump or not

is it on a later engine with a peg drive for the dizzy, or an earlier one with slot drive, or a camshaft with both (some do)

how do i identify it? if its any help its the 1.2 carb version?

the 1.2 carb & 1.3 dad slotted dizzy drives. the 1.4 later 1.2 spi & 1.6 had peg drives.

simply undo the clamp bolt & slide the dizzy out to see what the end of the cam looks like, it usually has a cam id no. on it too

ok so if it is a slotted dizzy, would the camshaft fit in a 1.3 only and not any of the other mentioned model engines?

it will only fit the slotted dizzy drive. so its down to what dizzy people would want to fit to their engine, as the cam & dizzy will physically fit into all the small block engines.
