I'v got a 1300sb engine that I was going to send the bottom end away to get rebuilt. I came across these on eBay and thought wether it was a good buy or not??

Any thoughts??

If its for racing there are better pistons about if it is just a refresh for a road car they would be OK.

It's by no means for racing but I'd like them to last. Can you recommend any?
The only ones I know of apart from them are Mahle or KS ones but they will be double the price of those may be tripple. AE pistons are more than up to the job.
get it bored to 77.8 iirc & slap some 12st pistons in... They will be cheaper & give you a damned good 1400.. It will be high compression, and need the 12st head gasket too.
