no voltage to pump on xe conversion

i have done the conversion myself the shell and loom are carb so i have run 2 new wires for the fuel pump i have bell tested the new wires with the multi meter there all fine
as i have the very early engine loom it has the plug like the nova gte's and gsi's have

this is how i have wired it

green - tach

thick red - +to batt

blue- +pump

thin red with blue trace not used this

black-ing+

then i have the single 4 pin green plug that goes into the car for eml and other


i have an eml light
i have no power the pump so no priming

anyone have any ideas??

any advise would be great

check power to fuel pump relay then trace from there
