Anyone know what the modern tyre size equivalent is of a 145R13 tyre? I think it may be 145/80R13 but not 100%.
The 27 year old Michelins on the Swing are starting to grumble now and the O/S/R tyre has an 8 inch split in the tread down to the cords. Only found it last night when I was replacing the backbox ready for its MOT today. Never bothered getting it MOT'd as I new it would fail and didn't fancy driving it down the A38 to work with the split there!

if it helps, back in the day, i fitted 165/70r13's on the skinny rims they didn't look daft, & gave a lot more grip.

surely you can still buy 145r13 tyres from the 'classic' ranges.

Kwik fit abd budget will still do the 145s 13, they use them for basic citreon/peogeouts as well.
