squeaky alternator!

when my car is running it sounds horrible because the alternator is really noisy (squeaky)can anyone help me what do i need to do to stop it.Cheers

Spray WD40 on the belt and see if the noise stops.

get a new belt there only ?3.69 from halfords!!

Are they easy to fit?

loosen off 13mm bolt, move alt inwards, fit new belt, use a long bar/piece of wood to hold the alt out while u tighten nut

easy but might need a mate to hold the alt out while u tignten the bolt to refit new belt
