Late gsi's didn't have dizzy's. Have you looked in the articles section? I'm sure there's a guide for them?

Some off the top of my head

Red-perm live
Black-ignition
Green-rev counter
Blue-red-fuel pump
Blue-white-water gauge I think

more importantly, what model of nova are you putting it in... ie, age, engine, was it carb or injection??
what are you doing about the fuel pump/tank etc..?

Mk1 nova 1.2 carb and got a external electronic fuel pump

well, its a fairly good donor to work with.

wire it up with the original 1.2 sender wires & starter/alternator wiring

then connect off the c16se loom

the red to the starter feed.
the black to the coil feed
the red/blue from the fuel relay to the external pump
then the brown/yellow to the choke light to serve as an EML
and if you have a 6 dial dash
the green is the rev counter
then you'll need a wire to the oil gauge sender

it could be air getting into the fuel line.

Try turning the key on & off a few times to prime the pump, you can usually hear the air bubbles gushing thru the pipe.

until you can sort out a proper efi tank, make sure you don't let it go under 1/4 tank, or it can get air up the fuel line on hard cornering.
