Basically, removed my dashboard and all the switches then replaced a week later.
Everything works as it should apart from the fact that the n/s lights stay on with no ignition or no lights activated via the switch,also the illumination on the dash is also always on.
Today i removed a few switches and checked the wiring and couldnt see any faults, out of interest i traced a green/white wire to the fuse box as it was on a constant live this went to the hazard switch, soon as i removed the wire its perfect. no lights are on and the hazards work ok as do the other lights but the illumination doesnt. I could keep the wire off but then have no illumination unless i run it from a switch
So for now im running a switch to illuminate my dash at night, whats gone wrong ?
