Sideliight wont fit light

Ive got a mk1 nova and my drivers side bulb holder wont fit my headlight?? any ideas

Trying to put it in upside down, there are two tabs on the side, one is bigger than the other so it will only locate and fit, one way round!

yeah ive tried tht buddy also got another set o mk1 lights an it will fit in one an no the other/ one says Hella an the other must be a copy

Possibly then yes, try shving it slightly with a razor blade see if you can adjust it to fit?

when you look at the side light holes on both my other lights on is clearly bigger. could this be the pattern part?

Unplug it and get another. They are al the same after 91... I have mk4 Astra ones in mine.
