i just got the nova build manual and the engine section has got me thinking.

how much power would this sort of set up produce if you wernt sticking to the regs, the book says it is 150bhp, how much extra would you get by changing to a big valve head, bigger pistons, 4-1 and whatever else is restricted by the group a regulations, but still using injection rather than carbs.

what management would you need to use as the group A ecu is set up for the group A engine setup and i dont think it is mappable, and how much would this cost.
Is/has anyone run this sort of setup and how does it drive on the road due to the big cam, and how quick is it down the 1/4 mile

cheers

Ben.

well if you take the 150 as said, then add prehaps 7-10 bhp for the head, maybe 5-9 for the overbore and a mild increse for the 4-1 exhaust

so 165ish would be achieveable,

i belive the grp a ecu is sort of adjustable, but its a bit of a slut if its what i think it is, ie changing resistors lol
