Make it all from scratch.

RJ trackrod ends for the additional width, Rally design tubing & bearings for the lower bars & arms, box out the rear beam so the bearings mount on further out, oh and you better be on spherical front top mounts too.

Which is actually more expensive than doing it with mechanical parts :(

That could such an awesome business if it catered for more then just Nova/Corsa!

They need to get with times then lol C2 Maxi's & Swifts are where its at now!

And Suzuki Works fabricated parts you can for swifts these days are immense. Even the composite cabin cold air intake is a work of art let alone the rad repositioning setup!

The Superfwd stuff looks ok in the pictures, although I like the tube design there are a few things I don't really like, and then there are their hubs ;)

Good to see people doing stuff for these cars though as they need it !

First time I've heard of Superfwd.........for a moment I went all weak as I thought someone was actually making a proper lightweight hub.........no such luck.

No such luck sadly. The Grp a setup certainly isn't going to help you save any weight either.

I'd like to see what their nova brackets look like

Could you not just get some machined off the hub?

im guessing with a 50mm wider track you'll be able to use the astra shafts?

100 quid per hub ouch! Their offset bottom balljoints look interesting

All they'll do is add camber, that said machined steel is stronger than cast iron.

Colin, if you're serious about light weight hubs then just ask an engineering firm to make you a pair from an extruded bar of aluminum. I bet you could source 2 pieces of the right size & grade for less than £400, then it's just the machining cost.

It could be stronger and way lighter plus if you did ever go for it you could have the calipers mount on the opposing [correct] side to aid weight distribution.

just seen this thread, im in the process of widetracking my nova. im doing all the arms etc myself as i couldnt find anywhere selling the kit off the shelf and ive heard too many horror stories of folk paying ££££ for kits that dont fit. ive got for +60mm per side to allow the use of the widest standard big block vaux shafts i could get, ourely to keep costs down, as far as i remember astra GSi and cav GSi are withing a few mm of each other.

here is my rear beam as of yesterday:

the super FWD kits look ok for the money really, not up to the quality of the likes of hockly fabricated nova/corsa arms but that would be expected at half the price...

also, im curious to find out whats so bad about the machined hubs hes doing???

Nothing's bad about them there just not what people thought at a first glance, although maybe £100 to machine a bigger bearing in is pricey

Nice rear beam :)

thanks plug!

also, if anyone else has pics of widened beams or front arms please share. its always good to see other peoples ideas too.
