hello

this is my project i brought a few months ago . was looking on ebay one day when i saw 2 novas up for sale only 30 mins away £800 for them both . the guy had brought the gte for £700 i think and then spent a long time tracking down a good shell to swap it onto and had to go to london to buy the star . and then didnt have time to do the project .

here are the pics of when i got them home the gte now sits completley stripped and the star's interior is stripped out whilst i swap the wiring and install a cobra alarm . but i will put more pics of all this up another day i think .

ok and heres the gte apparently it has been sat in a field for at least 7 years all the fuel lines were rotten but managed to get it running by running a fuel pipe straight into a jerry can it was abit lumpy which is undertandable but seems all good .

alright vauxhall-gazz i finally got round to making a thread ! yeh the plan is to swap all the parts over from the gte the only parts im going to change at the min are im after a set of cav fan blade alloys if i can get some will paint those anthracite grey with polished lips and if i can find a way how i would like to smooth over the centre caps . i also want to get some suspension want to drop it quite low , low enough so the back arches are just siting over the wheels , how low do you think i would have to go for that ? other than that i will rebuild the engine if i can afford to , and just genrally tidy everything up as i go .

60mm drop on 195/45/15's just covers the top of the tyre, but on a set of 110mm springs, you will lose the tyre and part of the wheel
