could be any old small block 8vlave buddy f lol
1.3 1.4 SR etc
never seen that rocker cover tho ?

It says 16 MH GM on the block
early cav mk2 astra engine then buddy
Cav Mk2 1.6 8v OHC at a guess. Single point injection 80 odd horsepower POS lol

Cav mk2 1.6 8v. Its got the right dizzy setup.
Never seen an SPi one though.

im thinking about selling it as i dont have the space to keep it or the time to fit it

To be honest you would get more for the dizzy kit than you would for the entire engine anyway.
It's a carb, mechanical pump, its had the spi box fitted for a filter

if you get the right people it will do over £100 lol as i found out :)
As its an spi, the dizzy isn't really a dizzy.... It's just there for convinience.

But as i questioned and MK confirmed its a carb, or got a mechanical fuel pump for convenience:p

I fail to see what's so special about the dizzy, it's use a bosch one, it's not the 1.4 one. Also it has a lambda sensor so it is an spi just had a different cam box fitted.
