Hey guys. My dad is need of something automatic. He has parkinsons, so as you can imagine, it's a must. Would prefer something Vauxhall, however anything will be looked at, provided it ain't too far away and meets requirements.

Requirements:

Preferably a small engine, like a 1600. However, we are willing to have a browse at bigger engines, but nothing bigger than a 2 litre. Also has to be a more door, so think along the lines of an astra/omega type of car etc.

We have a budget of around the £500 mark, we aren't expecting anything exceptionally glamorous, just something that will see my dad through for the next couple of years without too much bother.

EDIT: Thanks to Mike's choice I have noticed that I haven't added my location like a complete tool: I am located down in Kent, so something relatively close :thumb:

Cheers guys!

Yea Id of though so. First thing in my head was a Vec auto as Astra autos are thin on the ground. Could look at Mondeos or older BMW's. E36 shape kinda thing. Plenty auto Volvos about too.

Only beemers in the price range have far too big an engine, same for the ovlov's :/ mondeos are iffy, but am currently watching an astra auto, Mark 3.

I was thinking of something I have some vague experience in fixing, and seeing as I have had a few novas and a load of friends have had vauxhalls, I think it makes sense. Haven't really considered jap, as parts are usually expensive :/

Haven't really found any daewoo's, but again haven't really thought about them
