golf gti mk3 gearbox

as above ive been looking for a gearbox for my golf gti 16v mk3 been offered a gear box for £100 but got to go there and take it out my self is this worth it or should i try get it cheaper ? cheers dave

what miles?? what warranty?? was the car crashed or worn out???

if its a goodun, then £100 doesn't sound too painful

the miles around 120,000 bit more then my one dont think there is a warranty the car is up for sale or repair its on the *bay 99p engine start.

i think i just have a look and see if he let me test drive it before sale or not .
