Spot lights

Thinking of getting minimum 2 spots on the 205 to use when I'll be over at the mull rally - spectating.

If I get driving spots are these okay to use at night along with my dipped beams, or are they only to be used for main beam use?

I'm not sure if you can only use as a main beam but can either have driving lights, fog lights or spot....each has a different field it will cast the light on.

What I want is a light that will give me more distance and ideally be used with my dipped beams or can I not have this and I'd only have them as a main beam?

fit both & adjust them for max effect.
