Redtop Nova

HI,

a mate of mine has bought a 1.4nova, he has a 2.0l redtop out of a Calibra, That includes engine, box, loom and ecu. he has had a strengthening kit welded in and has bought all of the mounts and spacers needed.

just wondering what it is like to fit everything, as i am the one doing it. any common problems or complications i should be aware of?

be nice to know as i will be doing it alone.

Depending on the condition of the shell, a welder will be a must as even a standard xe has more power and torque than a nova was ever designed for, dont forget the alternator clearance mod on the drivers chassis leg, and the lug on the gearbox which will foul the tiebar (i personally forgot that one on mine lol)
