Do YOU have welding and fabrication skills? if not then its a no go.

Restoring or selling the sierra as a project might be a better move, fords are commanding decent money.
Would be a major project to install the running gear into a nova.
Anything. Is possible though, if you have the skills or deep pockets.
I'm pretty sure there was a nova van with cosworth running gear done a few years back, I think it was just welded onto the sierra floor pan lol
iirc there a wide arch'd cossie powered nova on here? purple i want to say? not to sure f lol

I just fancied doing something mad, ive got the rallycar to restore in the background of the nova shot royston, it would be worth far more than the 4x4

go for it. you might have fun with the width of it, but chopping a section out of the sierra floor behind the front seats is going to be the easiest way of getting the wheelbase right.

A Ford 4WD 2.9 V6 in a nova would be a sensation, but imo for it to be cool engineer it so it's not wide track.

It would be a good sleeper without the wide track but it would handle crap compaired to being wide. lots of hassle to shorten drive shafts and track control arms etc
