Help is needed as I fitted my c20xe and the gear box is touching the passenger side gear box mounting bracket. Why would this be.

Which way round does rear gear box mount go.

Will upload sum tonight. It's puzzling me to b honest as everything seems normal and how it should. All I can think is that the spacers for the rear one shoul b one on gear box side and two on the bolt end.

The front mount? I had mine spaced with 3 thick washers to stop it. Never worked out why it was like it. Only did it on one set up out of 5.

on my passenger side mount at the front, if you lok through the wheel arch the nut and bolt that hold the mount on to the bracket is pretty close but dosnt touch

mine is touching. i take it you mean three thick washers on the mount where it bolts to gear box. strange to cause never had it on my last build.

what way round does the back spacers go on the rear mount just to make sure.

Got the rear mount and drivers side mounted out correctly? Rear mount has some spacers plates.

Yer rear mount has the three spaces that is used and drivers side is normal. Used the top two holes. Rubbers seem all tight and not split

Drivers side has to be replaced IIRC

Drivers side mount seems ok. What way round does spacers go on rear mount.

Two spacers between gearbox and rear mount and the other spacer on the outside of the rear mount.

Yer that's how I got it. Mayb it's just sitting strange and needs washers between front gear box mount. Cheers people

It's either sitting too far forward or twisted, surely. You could try slotting the rear mount to allow it to sit further back (usually only done on solid mounts but might work). Just weld some washers in when you're done.

It looks more twisted than to far forward. Driving me mad.
