1.6 corsa sport problems

two days after my birds car was reversed into (could be a coincidence) she goes to start it and it dosnt want to start! when i went to start it just now it sounds like the starter motor does a turn then gives up, try another couple of times and it kicks in, but sounds rough and idles slightly higher then normal?

she was saying to me the other day when it finally started for her she put it in reverse and it was juddering the car it was running so rough, but when she started driving it down the road it was fine the roughness stopped.

any ideas guys :thumb:

p.s there is not engine managment/warning lights on the dash

Comon problem with these engines was the pipe that connects to the throttle body they split all the time check there first

sweet will have a look when she is back on her lunch mate, so thats just causing a air leak then ?

Possible they were comon ,if it is that then you will be scared of the price !

Its that small you can loose it

do you know what its called? what does it do? some sort of vacum pipe?

Its not a vac pipe no its the main throttle body to inlet plenum hose its abot 60 diam and 50mm tall
