I had a 1986 SR on a C plate, it was painted in a grey colour that i've never seen before or since, can anyone identify what the paint is, maybe someone has a 1986 Nova brochure its mentioned in.

Here is a pic to ilustrate.

Any help would be appreciated.

What's the code on the vin plate? Looks black to me...

No idea I sold it in 1991. I seem to remember getting some work done on the anit perforation warrenty and its was anthracite or some thing similar. It wasn't black, the log book said grey.

I've been thinking about this, I think the colour was the same as the 14 steels from the Mk2 SR.

Most probably but the brouchure ive got doesnt have the paint codes in it.

Does you're brochure contain the 1985/86 1300 SR colours?

Its Anthracite two-coat metallic.

Thats the name it lists it as.
