ive been at hospital since yesterday withthis, and im waiting for a plastic surgeon to try a repair the damage, almost passed out this time, but a passer by took me to hospital, note to self, metal on engines is sharp:roll::cry:

24mm spanner giving the heave hoe on an oil feed on a renault 21 turbo, it cracked of, arm ran along an exhaust stud, im in pain, and could have caused permenant damage, its still is as open as you see it :(

just got home after 3 days in hospital, 24 stiches, inside and out, 7 anasetic injections, repaired torn muscle , ligament and tendents repaired (watched them burn them back together), hour and half in surgery awake watching it being done, massive respect to broomfeild hospital plastics team for making good the hash i made lol

that's nasty. i had a very similar gash on my shin. it was about 3" long and 1" wide you could see my shin bone perfect when he washed it all out. i just about escaped from getting a skin graph but i don't know how he managed to stitch it back! i say you wernt long going in to shock when you seen your arm
