Unknow CAM HELP pleas..

I have a 8v cam that came of my old c14se Turbo coil type but ive been told buy pie its a dizzy cam he says its not standared as it has no GM stamped on it. the numbers on the cam is a

D (three little balls stickin out if thats makes sence) then 165 916


Any ideas cheers.
