Dash Lights Failed

After some advice, my SR had a few dash lights so I replaced them. I managed to short out one putting it back in, fuse blew. So I replaced the fuse but no lights at all! Any ideas what else may have blown?

The circuit on the back of the clocks may have a break somewhere

Ok, its also the panel lights for the heater controls etc.

Good point, it was but I think that has failed also.

Managed to fix this.Bizarely the fuse for the nearside rear sidelight had blown, this stopped the buzzer for leaving the door open with lights on working. Which stopped the dash lights working!!

Your probably find that there all fed from the same fuse.

No there separate, I already replaced the fuse for the dash lights.

I think the HU/fag lighter are on the same fuse while the dash lights are connected to the sidelights fuse so you get live to dash lights when you turn the sidelights on?
