Corsa C exhaust/emissions help

A couple of weeks ago a warning light came up on the dash, which was the Emission Control sumat or other.

Turned out to be a crack in the exhaust manifold on runner 1 just as it meets the collector. Will I cause any permanent damage to anything if I carry on driving it til its fixed? If anything it feels faster lol

V common problem on these apparently, always bringing up the engine management lights.
Its not my car to say it would be fine till you fix it, but if it was my car i would still drive it.
