Heater matrix

I really cant remember but does anyone know if you have to pull the dashboard out to remove the heater matrix on a mk2? I've got a rather wet floor from a leaky one. :-(

Yes you do as far as I remember.

No you dont, its tight but can be done. I've done it more than once on a mk2.

As above, you can do it with the dash it, i'd remove the under dash shelf to give your self more room tho.

I've also done this on a MK2 with the dash in situ, very tight but can be done ;)
