coil or coil amp,

plugs getting hot from running lean?

pump relay??

CTS?

ign ecu (its the one on the bulkhead)

It runs fine had fuel set up on Thursday and when I took it of ramp and it cut out so checked spark coming from coil so put new coil on it and cut out again today it has also had new cts last week and injectors re built but my wife did say when she followers me and input foot down it puffed a bit of black smoke out thanks dan

your gte is about 22-24 years old.... of course it will blow some smoke occasionally...

is the ign switch breaking down?

is there an aftermarket immobiliser fitted?? as they can be the root cause of a lot of troubles.

definitely try bypassing the immobiliser.. they are not that reliable.

dead easy. the electrical bit comes off the back of the barrel quite easily.. but i'm more concerned the immob is the fault, get it tested first.. there will be wires in for

battery +ve & earth
the ecu +ve input & output
the fuel pump +ve input & output
and the silly sensor & red light..

its a 2 minute job with a multimeter to check it first.
