I have a set of red 8mm silicone ignition leads & King lead.
I had these on my XE using a mk2 cav H&H distributor. Car ran fine with them on, just a bit of a pain clipping the ends on the plugs down in the head. Would possibly work on a 8v engine too I suppose.
The only down side with them is they have been made up with the wrong numbers printed on them! for example, number 1 lead has a number 4 on! They were like this when I got them and it doesn't affect the running can just be a bit confusing!
