View Full Version : What color is the snowplough and the foglight surrounds?

As above I want to know the color so my bumper are the same color!

Most folk use upol mid grey when painting bumpers, see Edds thread ( last few pages ) or Iain's sport aswell

UPOL mid looked dark bluey/purpley kinda grey to me when I used it.

Plastics were only ever given the colour grey or blue/grey

As far as I know there is no paint codes for plastics, as they werent painted.

The plastic on the foglights seems to have been near sunlight and has perrished the colour, they should be the grey colour of you plough ;)

As Bazil mentioned though its the plastic and not a paint.

If you get a GM one peice bumper or a pattern one it will be the same shade as the plough and surrounds, but good luck finding a new one, pattern ones are avallible from german ebay, or find a excellent second hand GM one, I waited 2 years to find a new GM one

I only painted mine with Upol mid grey because I wanted all the exterior plastics to match, bumpers, gutter trims, sill stripes etc etc

I know that but they will have been on a shelf for 25 years some where, even room lights will have altered the colour from original I'd of thought.

No that hasn't happened, the snowplough is an identical color to the fog surrounds.
