xe stat removal

any tips how to remove the thermostat for the xe housing?

iv noticed there 2 tap you can push but only 2-3movement

something this small is stressing me out f lol lol

Mr Haynes says it doesn't split and a complete cover and thermostat is needed

3 10mm headed bolts job done !!!

As mentioned 3 10mm bolts to remove the stat and housing.

If your wanting to change the stat inside the housing you just push it in a little and turn.

Put a piccy up of whats causing you the problem.

tock top off and trying to get stat out

Push it down into the housing and twist it out?

i used a 30mm socket to push down lol and twist

its like it dont want to twist enough to come lol

First you push and twist like this. I find long nose pliers help.

Yeah and if in doubt throw it in the bin and spend £9.99 on Ebay for a new one as life is too short to funk on with this shizzle lol

I bought one from halfords but it was all win somehow it was in the same size box as just the gasket so someone must of set it up but I spoiled their plan lol I was shocked with the new couple of pound price and paid up ASAP lol
