I am putting up for sale my rally engine. As I am getting an appropriate engine next week which will be in keep with my build.
Spec as follows
1600 8v
Head gas flowed and ported
062 cam
Block decked
New pistons
New head bolts
Block honed
New shells
New seals
New core plugs
Lightened and balance crank and flywheel
Baffled sump
New gaskets
It runs on a standard exhaust manifold
Runs on a red dizzy system
It also ran on twin 40 webers
It was built 4 yrs ago by a race engine builder and when last used it won the 1600cc class outright and finished 17th overall. Engine has done 3 events since built and approx 300 miles in total! It pushes approx out 135bhp and was built with speed/torque and reliability in mind for the rallies I do.
