Oh look my sill is rotten, i know i'll weld a skin sill over the top of it....yes that'll work :mad:

If i were you i would of filled it and painted it and flogged it on before now, stop showing potential owners its down sides! lol
i was supposed to be getting it MOT'd tomorrow so only option is to do it properly
Amazing what you can find really eh, it looked factory fresh at PV show.

You mean the SRi, and not the derv that Dave now owns, i think SRi had nine sills on it, five were on one side lol
who remembers ades one that was mostly a piece of wood & some filler??? lol lol

They could have at least ground the rot out first! Your car has gone through 2 sills, real original Nova!!

Everyone likes a bodge now and again as a temp fix but that's a bit of a joke
It's takes half an hour at the most to cut a sill out or in my case I pulled mine off lol
A common sight on mini's unfortunately
Yes mini sills are always done badly apart from the earliest ones (the ones with the floor the wrong way), the sills don't seem to rot....different shape and as far as I know they were filled with stuff and sealed.
Thats not a bad bodge, now Ade's sill with a chunk of wood was a real bodge!

Very true, unfortunately most customers on want a quick bodge so when I do sills at work its like the above! Luckly mine were done right :)
