Just a comment Conza123, I could have sworn that when I had my 32/34 DMTL Weber on my SR (Peter Maiden conversion with manifold), that the throttle cable and choke came in from the front and the fuel came in from the left(as looking from the front of the car), unfortunately I don't have any pictues to hand.
The throttle cable definitely was not up against the bulkhead, are you sure your installation isn't 180 degrees out, My kit came with a longer throttle cable.
This maybe useful to compare

Long one is from my 32/24 Weber conversion, is 700mm long, the short one is a std 1.2 carb.

i didnt get a new throttle cable with my kit but it works so im not bothered but that would mean the throttle cable goes over the rocker cover
