Has any1 had trouble fitting there mirrors?

well its just the top screw it dont grip the hole on the plate did u use a longer screw?

Mine fitted ok. Just screw a longer Self Tapper. Screw it through the hole so it touches the actual inside base of the mirror and makes a small hole in the baseplate. Use a slightly fatter one too. Too fat and it will crack. Might sound like a bodge job but it worked for my mate.

If all else fails get the superglue out.

still havin problems:took old mirrors off and put these on do u have 2drill more holes?coz when i put them on u can still move the mirrors coz the base plates dont hold in2 the door?

U got the rite base plates? they shoild have a little nipple that locates into the door! dont tighten the screws rit up, put them in so all are in [place and then do a bit at a time! mine didnt line up all that well!!!!!

i think ive got the rite base plates i got them from a site in revs.il order some new 1s and c if there the same.

there bout ?15 u can get them from halfords aswell.

The bace plates should follow the curve of the door frame, most ones I see are mounted too high. Still looks OK and only fussy buggers like me spot it. Took me 2 evenings to get them just right with a needle file.
