Hello, just looking for some help with my little engine, my intake pipe was split so I replaced it with one in the garage. Now its not a Vauxhall part and does not have the Supplementaly air valve hose hole
From what I can tell this hose takes air from after the afm and feeds it into the manifold.

I have blanked this off and I Havnt noticed a difference. Also when the engine was warm it was still sucking from this hose?!

Now can someone explain all the hoses that go everywhere and what is this sensor?

And the hose I have blanked

the pipe you have blanked off is the icv pipe.

it basically is the fancy version of a choke. if you can't tell any difference, then your icv wasn't working right anyway, as it should make the engine run rich until its up to temp.

the one with the screw is the vacuum connection. i guess you have blanked the egr off, cos the second pipe gets blanked off when you do that.

Yehp I have blanked the icv off I'm now confused about the coasting air valve hoses as these connect to the same pipe as the supplementary air valve
