Sorry to go on about drive shafts again, but if i take out my 1.2 engine and put a 1.6 in, will i be able to use my 1.2 drive shafts or will i have to use the 1.6 drive shafts? Cheers

Why do i need to use the GTE drive shafts? Whats the difference between the 1.2 drive shafts and the 1.6 drive shafts?

none
vaux sell 1.0-1.6 shafts as the same part so that suggests they are interchangeable

They also list the 8v and 16v conrods as the same and they are manufactured completely different :!:
hope ur not refering to EPC, as its not always right u know!!!

its RIGHT
just doesnt mean tahts what came from the factory
if u went into vaux and baught a set of shafts for a 1.0 and a set for a 1.6 you'd be given the same part
same with the conrods - NOW u'd be given the same part - might not have been that way originally
