This ever been done before ?

anyone owned a VX ? tbh they dont look that comfortable lol

basically im on the look out for a lightweight seat that i can bolt to a nova subframe

any ideas ?

I did it a few years ago got two black ones cheap and had some plates welded to a nova subframe, doing the pair was awkward though as the passenger is fixed in the Vx

Just get some nice lightweight Recaro or Sparco buckets. You wont get them in brown & check though ;)

might ditch the rear seats, fit buckets and harnesses

2nd comfiest seats I've ever used in a car.

Bear in mind you have no tilt adjustment and they are setup for a flat bottomed car.
Plus they aren't "really" that light in the grand scheme of things.

I know someone's who's got 3 vx220's (2 turbos) and he uses his for long journeys and driving round town, so I'm geussing they must be comfy

I clocked up 20-25K a year in mine lol (note the cloth seats are infinitely nicer to sit in than the leather ones)
The only comfier seats I've used are the Tillet B5 carbon ones... no padding but magically works wonders.
