its not women drivers but male instructors that are mostly to blame....

they manage to get a young lass to pass a test without teaching them anything more than the bare bones of driving. they don't show them how to park properly, or what to do in any situations that might arise... and the lass passes the test because females are actually very good at test passing in general, as they mature quicker than males..

males have evolved with better hand eye co-ordination & actually are better at winging it & improvising a decision..

so its not to say all women drivers are crap, because they are not.. they are different drivers because of how they are taught, and there are also a lot of crap male drivers, most of them work for arriva bus in hinckley, but thats a different story...

wheeling out old hackneyed stereotypes on a public forum is not a good idea... there are very few female nova owners who are on here as it is.

edit... just watched thru the vid again, and on the vast majority of clips, you can't actually tell if the driver is male or female. and as for the 2 clips at the end, one is a massive setup for a tv show, and the other with the yellow car... they aren't even parking properly in the lanes anyway.

and that second one, of the woman trying to park for 3 1/2 minutes, then that bloke just tells her to get out and parks it straight away lol

and that second one, of the woman trying to park for 3 1/2 minutes, then that bloke just tells her to get out and parks it straight away lol
and i once had a blazing row with a bloke driving a bin lorry in nuneaton over his belief that we needed to move a transit van that was blocking his way, even though there was 12 feet gap, i know cos we measured it, and in the end he actually drove over some ones front garden to avoid it.....the argument centred on the fact that i told him that it was not even our transit van, which it wasn't, but he didn't believe me, and then he said, 'well if you think you can do any better....' & i got my driving licence out of my wallet to prove my class 1 hgv, and that sort of upset him..

back to my argument about women drivers not being taught how to reverse properly.. it is actually a deeply ingrained thing about spacial awareness, and some women need to be taught how to judge a gap... my mrs is a great one for this particular thing... the number of times i have had to take furniture back cos it simply is too big.......

yes if you could like to take it off the other one .. the only reason i put on other page was so none members could see an enjoy the fun of a video of some women drivers :thumb:
