Currently building myself a little toy.
Here's what I've done so far-
•c16se bottom end
•1600 big valve head (ported, polished, skimmed, machined inlet to fit round port inlet
•1300 cam and cambox running manual fuel pump
•lightened and balanced flywheel
•twin 40 dellorto's
•four branch
Will all this run ok, or is there anything I need to do or change?

should run ok but I'd consider a bigger cam than standard to take advantage of the headwork, depending how the head flows you might actually lose a little with a low lift cam and a flowed head compared to standard. Might be worth going for a facet style pump too, I've no idea what the manual pumps can run to before the run out of flow.

Should go really nicely with what you've mentioned done though :d

Thanks mate. Was considering getting an uprated cam. Someone at vauxcare in Lincoln told me they use 1300 for grasstracking as they have a fairly high lift but was unsure about this. Had one kicking around so thought I'd give it a try

They're the highest lift standard cam, so 7-8mm or so I think? Manly cams are well into double figures :d
