Right well the renewal has come through and last year i couldnt find cheaper that £540 third party with all mods declared. my renewal price is £594 so iv done a bit of looking around and have been quoted £ 299 with good girl insurance. . . . is this too good to be true, and although unlikly, has any one any experince with this company?

Even if you don't use them you may be able to use that quote to get a price match with your current insurer or another one. I usually do that, before paying for my yearly renewal I'll check if its cheaper elsewhere, and then get my current insurer to match the price to keep me as a customer.

Just had my renewal from Hic with a 25% saving. I have always rated them and it's not the most insurable car either!

Insurance companys make me laugh, there like our renewal price is £500, you have a look somewhere else and say get it for £300 and go back to your original insurace company who wanted £500 and they then say we can do it for £300 as well. What size engine you got in your nova?

I'll give them a try although I have got an agreed valuation set up with HIC but could at least try them for a competitive quote - Andy it's a let
