Need some advice. Car was running fine, out for a drive when I change into 2nd gear and the engine starts to run uneven slightly, go for 3rd gear and gets worse, then into 4th and lose all power, push acelarater and nothing. Change down to 2nd and engine coughs and splutters then stails completely, dash lights up the lot. I give the car 2mins then she starts up again.
So we have a new fuel pump, all earths checked, new carb, new coil, new dizzy and HT leads.
When the car sits on drive way it ticks over at idle lovely, you can rev it to the redline and returns to idle with no problems.
Seems I get this trouble when under load.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
