What size do you think this is and does it look like standard letters or smaller motorbike letters?

Standard sized letters IMO, not sure on the width though, try and gauge it of a similar text plate

Im looking on the showplate site and they have a 9"x3" and a 10"x3" which look very similar. I dont want it to look too small and pretty much want it the same as the one above. I have an extra number but i dont have a space in the middle. I know it sounds highly illegal but im not wanting it to be, i never get pulled with no space now on a standard plate but itl look way too big for the next project (a mini lol)

Not the best pic but here's a standard one on the same boot. A standard plate is 20 1/2" x 4 1/4 i think. Doubt they're standard font though as my font now is 16x4ish

It looks slightly smaller than standar size.

Big fan of cut down plates on a 5 digit registration!

I got my cut down number plates from Ebay but the seller doesn't do them anymore! They are standard size being height and font size but are cut/trimmed to the width of how many digits you have. Here are a couple of pictures of my ones:

That looks great Liam, i was going to trim mine down (maybe i should of after looking at that). I've ordered a pair 13" x 4 1/3" now so hopefully they'll be what i want, didnt want anything smaller than that. I've got the feeling that the font is going to be smaller though. Il let you know tomorrow when they come lol

I will do, no idea if they're going to be the size i want but we'll see. I got them from no1showplates.com, iv used them loads of times over the years and have always been the best service possible, they do loads of sizes aswell as custom ones.

I just measured my plates quickly for you...

The small plate comes in at 16 1/2" wide!

I have also taken some pictures to show the size differance:

I got the plates the other day. The front ones look pretty good on the bumper but i think the rear looks a bit small and im guessing il get pulled over straight away for them, there's also screw holes showing. I think they're 16" apart so i might just trim my old plate down and see how it'll look then.

I have just stumbled across another company on Ebay that do short number plates, standard height, font etc. <<<LINK HERE>>> (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NUMBER-PLATES-CUT-SHORT-ROUNDED-EDGES-/170481489781?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27b17d1775)

I've decided to use the small plate up front and on the rear i've cut down my standard plate. It looks ok but i couldnt go shorter because of the screw holes :(
