is that the 8v or 16v

im shore its the 8v

Yes if it's the original GTE engine it's a 1.6 8v, E16SE or C16SE engine code.

this is what i found a complete kit ... its ok that to fit with my engine as it is E16SE as iain pointed out

If you're trying to bargain hunt...

If you happen to be a member on MIG or another suitable forum, and you have a Vauxhall Trade Club card, stuff can be got fairly cheap from Vauxhall (£2-3 for an oil filter). Or if you have a Halfords trade card I've found filters etc very cheap from them.
