Need Help! f16 gearbox part..

Im after a small part for a f16 gearbox..
Its a really small plastic cup with a thin rubber around part of it, it sits in the engine bay. It connects underneath the gearlinkage arm and holds it down in place on a small ball but allows it to pivot for movement.
mine has broken off.. i went to vauxhall parts and they called it a "Ball Pin" unfortunatly the one they gave me is to big and they say my one is a discontinued part :(
So has anyone got one out there?

most of the time the break which causes the balljoint to pop out which im guessing is whats happened with yours

as you already know you cant get a replacement

best bet is to find a decent second hand linkage

a tip though, mine done this and it took me a while to get a replacement so i wrapped the ball part in electrical tap then popped it back in

it held untill i got a replacement
