my engine is also now running. (1.6 16v on throttle bodies and DTA management)

got it going on saturday night. had a quick play on sunday and again last night. done 150miles so far but taking it easy due to the throttle position sensor not working.

basically without the sensor the engine throws in a defualt set amount of fuel and timing value. it still purrs like a cat and ticks over sweet (had her down to 500rpm stable)

very happy with my work, just a few bits of pieces here and thereto tidy the wiring up, and fix the oil leak (no idea whee its coming from, either sump gasket or oil pump, both of which had new seals/gaskets)

plans are off now. i cant tune it myself as the tps (throttle position is sh4ged) hopefully going over to velos tonight to get something sorted.

but apart from conecting up the relay iv made for the ecu and mounting the ECU in a more suitable location theres nothing more to do except mapping.

Nice one Dude. Take it easy over the next few weeks. Chris T came round my house on Saturday and he actually said that the car was running alot better now that he's done 3000miles. Might be worth you doing some long runs Dicko, get the mileage built up as much as you can. Why not do a Novaload tour, lol. Visit different Novaload members throughout the country, lol.
