vw golf engine mount

any know how many bolts hold the alloy engine mount on to the block on a vw golf mk4 1.9tdi? a bolt broke an my mates engine mount and the engine fell down.

i replaced the 1 engine broken bolt but is there ment to be 2 or 3 bolts??? any help would be great, thanks

iirc there's 3. They will have snapped beacause they've previously been over tightened. hth

yeah that looks like it, lets hope you can get the broken threads out and the block hasn't broken (have seen this before)

Ugh who makes an engine mount out of cast ally of all things.

I suppose all the wood was used up...

Haha they even sleeved the top one with bronze. That's like making a building out of fimo then putting in pvc double glazing.
