Aye, tax runs out end of July and i dont have the rediculous fee of ?90.75 to pay for 6 months of the stuff until pay day on the 8th august :cry:

I thought the police were supposed to catch criminals? What about nicking the government for daylight robbery. :roll:

just drive it for the 8 days, if you get pulled just say you are waiting to get paid and will tax it from the begining of the month, the Police dont give a shite about tax.

drive it, but keep ur docs in the car with you. those cameras that pik you up for having no tax dont do it unless your a month+ over due. the police just say get it sorted asap.

da's vans been parked in the street for a month with no tax since it needs some work for the MOT (wheel bearing)

came out yestarday to find a nice sticker on the windscreen from the police containing a ?30 fine

im guessing we've got a grass - the police aint gonna come looking for the van are they!?

my neighbours used to get cocky about where people parked, had a go at me one day then came back a couple of days later to find a wheel clamp and fine for no tax :wink: :lol:

i wouldn't do it mate the police or a camara only has to see you tree times and thats your wage gone my mate got seen 4 times in as many days now hes f**ked

As Aragon said its a ?30 fine. i went 2 years and got fined twice, do the maths.

Have since started doing a hell of a lot more miles so bought some.

if you do go without tax don't try an 'fix' your old disc in any way as you'll get in the sh1t for fraud rather than just no tax
